Reader Submissions

Roe reached out to me last week asking how he could help and after a few e-mails were exchanged he sent over the following card scans for the Database. Thank you so much Roe for the help. As a reminder, if you have cards that you don't see in the various sections of the Database, please send me an e-mail and we'll talk about getting those images uploaded.

I really wished the World's Smallest line would've continued a little longer than it did as these were fun little toys. While these aren't really cards, I do feel they deserve a spot in the Database.

This is from the late 2000 re-issue of the Destron's Emperor of Destruction himself, Megatron.

I believe this card of Soundwave marks the first Music Label entry into the Database. Speaking of that I'll need to add Music Label as a new category!

I don't have any experience with these D-Style model kits made by Kotobukiya so I had no idea they came packaged with bio cards! I've wanted to pick up the Thundercracker kit for my personal collection and now that I know a card is included gives me even more incentive to do so!

Finally we have yet another variation to one of KFC's cassettes, Night Stalker.

Masterforce Metalhawk, Masterpiece Star Saber, DX9 Carry & more join the Database

Has it really been over 30 days since my last update?! Well thanks to hitting 400 Likes on the accompanying Facebook page, I've got some new reader submissions coming up soon. In the meantime I uncovered a few cards from my own collection that I hadn't scanned yet, and Brandon Yap (aka heroic_decepticon) sent me a better scan of G1 Super-God Masterforce Metalhawk's card!

The quality of these images are much better than what I had in the Database before, so a big thanks goes out to heroic_decepticon for the upgrade!

Masterpiece Star Saber is one of the few new MP toys that I opened shortly after purchasing for myself. I still have not bought Exhaust so this was my first introduction to the new style MP bio cards.

For many reasons I don't buy a lot of 3rd Party toys, but I broke down and picked up Carry at TFCon Charlotte last year. I saw a few images of him w/ MakeToys' Cupola (which I have) and alongside MP Ultra Magnus and I was sold. Now that the official MP Hot Rod has been released, I'm not 100% sure if I'll be keeping Carry in my MP collection or not. Still glad to have the awesome looking card.

These blind packaged PVC figures & cards are usually merchandised near the trading cards at your local Target stores. I thought I'd had seen the last of these until a restock happened. I grabbed one package and ended up w/ this turd.
