Masterpiece Ramjet & More RID Tiny Titans

Fellow Transformer blogger, Optimal Omega has been buying, opening and reviewing Masterpiece toys at a much faster rate than myself and recently sent me the scan of Ramjet's bio card. I'm always grateful for submissions, but especially for items I don't see myself picking up for my own collection...at least any time soon!

Lewis that runs lmb3.net buys nearly every Transformers release...whether he likes them or not. Series 5 of the RID Tiny Titans was released not that long ago and even though David Aguero recently supplied the majority of the images, are are the remaining cards from the new series.

That's it for this update, but there is a lot of work to be done. Titan Masters will have cards from what I can tell so if anyone reading wants to scan and submit those images please let me know. I have most of these toys on pre-order, but I'm going the Takara Tomy route and I'm not sure at this point of those Japanese release will come with cards or not.

Unicron Trilogy, RID Tiny Titans, KT Figure Collection & More!

Frequent contributor David Aguero is back at it! This time around he sent over a selection of scans from the Unicron Trilogy (Armada and Energon), KT Collection and a few other things. David has been a big part of providing a lot of content for this project so make sure you stop by his own Transformers site when you have time.

The Armada series kind of kicked off the inclusion of character bio cards packaged with Hasbro releases...even though technically these are cards and are just stickers.

By the time Energon rolled in after Armada, the stickers were now replaced with cards. These cards had actual tech spec rankings on the back, but no bio.

Sonokong released many of Takara's Beast Wars II toys in parts of Korea and as a result the bio cards were different than the Japanese Takara counterparts.

Gentei! Gentei! Electro Disrupter Liger, this release was only available with the purchase of the Transformers Generations 2009 book.

Is it odd that Hasbro chose to release Scattershot as the only lone packaged Technobot in the Combiner Wars series?

Series 5 Robots in Disguise Tiny Titans. Gotta admit, wasn't sure if this set would last this long.

The KT Figure Collection was only released in Japan as a joint venture betweem Kaiyodo and Takara. Up until David sent these scans over I had no idea these little PVC "figures" came with cards.

The lone 3rd party submission this time around comes from BTS Toys and their modern take on Soundwave, Sonicron. Loved the idea, but the execution of the toy left a lot to be desired!

Custom Combiner War cards

If you are like me you were probably bummed when Hasbro decided to drop the character cards from their Combiner War deluxe toys and switch them to comics...at least in the US. Well I ran across a guy on Facebook that created custom cards for many of the deluxe toys that never had cards (again, in the US). I believe he was printing them out and attaching them to card stock so his OCD would be satisfied! I asked him if he wouldn't mind letting me add these to the Database and he gave me his blessing. Thank you Bobby Miller for the awesome additions!

These images will be added to the Combiner Wars section of the Database as well to the CW album on the Facebook page.
